At 60: Reflections on Purpose, People, and the Road Ahead
In May 2026, I turned 60.
Milestone birthdays have a way of making you pause. They invite you to look back, take stock, give thanks, and reflect on the journey so far.
As I looked back across the different seasons of my life and work, one lesson stood out clearly:
People may not always remember everything we said or did, but they almost always remember how we made them feel.

That simple truth has shaped so much of my journey.
From banking to events, from human resources to service excellence, from technology-enabled experiences to social impact through the Kindness Initiative, I have seen again and again that the quality of human experience matters deeply.
It matters in business.
It matters in leadership.
It matters in service.
It matters in community.
It matters in the quiet, everyday moments when we have the opportunity to make someone feel seen, valued, respected, or cared for.
Periodically, I will be sharing reflections, stories, and lessons from my journey, along with insights into the hidden value and powerful impact of Building Better Human Experiences.
For me, this is more than a phrase. It is a personal philosophy anchored in service, kindness, leadership, empathy, purpose, and the belief that how we show up for people matters.
At 60, I am more convinced than ever that while technology may enable experiences, and service may elevate them, it is our humanity that makes them truly unforgettable.
